This is actually an AirBnb type place. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. I had a a plan to "leave my bags" at the hotel because I arrived long before 2pm check in. But I discovered that it's just rooms with self check-in; you get the key from a lock box and let yourself in. Fortunately, my room was ready and I could already occupy the room. Again, not a bad thing necessarily, just be aware. The room was very clean, modern, felt cozy and nice. Very local area, middle of nowhere, with a chicken farm 10 meters away (bring ear plugs...) It's really in the middle of nowhere so expect to walk or somehow find a tuktuk to shuttle you out of there. However, the guest manager with I was emailing was very helpful and even arranged for a motorbike to be delivered to me. Overall nice place, would recommend if you want something peaceful and quiet.
